How Verdant House Co began
Verdant House Co grew from the founder's 20 years in landscaping and a long-standing passion for plants. With established grower relationships and experience sourcing everything from everyday varieties to mature feature trees, the idea was to create a plant shop backed by practical knowledge.
That idea expanded into a relaxed East Brisbane space where people can browse plants, pots, gardenware and gifts, ask for advice, or stay for a coffee among the greenery.

Our range includes indoor and outdoor plants, seasonal flowering varieties, herbs, vegetables and less common species used in everyday landscapes. Stock will change throughout the year.
The store is open Tuesday to Sunday from 8am to 4pm, with the coffee window open from 6am to 8am. The coffee window is also open on Mondays from 6am to 11am, when the rest of the store is closed.
You'll find fresh and dried flowers, candles, cards, vases, terrariums, books and other small gifts throughout the store.
We serve barista-made coffee, cold drinks and a changing selection of quick eats, including pastries, toasties, cakes and cookies. We are not a full-service café with an on-site kitchen.
